This album is a collection of eleven songs, ten of which are Brenna's originals and cowrites. The non-original is a lonesome traditional waltz that grabbed her attention from the first time she heard it. All of these songs were written over the past few years from various life experiences and dreams. A handful of the songs carry the voicing of traditional bluegrass instruments and harmonies, while others aren't encompassed by any genre and have different colorings including piano, saxophone, drums and steel guitar.
